Broadways Stampings offer arc welding, both automated and manual, projection and spot welding solutions for medium or large volume components, from small bracket work right through to large bespoke production cells.
Broadways Stampings boasts an impressive robotic welding production line producing up to 1000 seats per day. The quality of the product is assured by trained technicians, rigorous section and etch testing, preventative maintenance and detailed inspection online. We use online data acquisition to constantly monitor performance and drive improvements to ensure a quality component at a competitive price.
We can also cater for smaller arc welding production requirements with two standalone robotic MAG turntable type welding machines. In addition we offer a large number of manual welding machines, both MAG and TIG, operated by our skilled staff. All parts produced are subject to strict quality control processes to TS16949.
Our projection and spot welding department offer a range of different capacity machines to suit your production needs, from 50KVA to 300KVA. These machines feature the latest British Federal Weldstar WS2003 timer, to produce a repeatable component to the customer’s specification. Some machines also feature automatic nut feeders, increasing run rates allowing us to fulfil large production orders on a single machine at a competitive price. Poke Yoke units are used, including a high tech camera system to guarantee all parts delivered are correct.
These machines are supported by a team of trained technicians equipped with the latest weld analysing hardware, who set and supervise all jobs while performing routine maintenance to ensure customer delivery schedules are met.
All welding fixtures are maintained in-house in our tool room to keep our welding processes producing dimensionally accurate assemblies. We produce fixtures for new components either in house or with our approved partners, so that we can offer a complete service from drawing to manufacture.
